The third chapter observes the ethical life and the spirit of Greece. Greece is considered as the birthplace of Spirit and its ethic life is greatly admired. However, the condition of Greek ethic life is that the self-conciseness has not emerged. After the emergence of self-conciseness, the Greek ethic life can’t be revived and the Greek spirit is unsatisfactory to modern unhappy consciousness. Therefor, the ethic life and spirit of Greece is just a beautiful memory.

　　In the fourth chapter, we consider what solution Christianity can offer. Here we argue that the principle of forgiveness and confession is the only way to rebuild ethic life after the emergence of self-consicouness. Besides the principle of forgiveness and confession is also the only way toward the true self-conciseness, which is the unity of the contradiction. It is impossible to forgive and confess unless we have faith. From the point of faith, to forgive and confess is to practice cult. So the answer to the problem of unhappy consciousness is faith.
